Founding Partner and CEO
For over 50 years, Skip has been transforming industries and fundamentally changing business models to lower costs, improve performance, and provide exceptional customer service. He has developed a unique perspective for identifying use cases and architecting simple, user-friendly solutions. He became an entrepreneur following the breakup of AT&T and since his consistent focus has been on streamlining communication and information exchange by intelligently designing and applying emerging technologies. He has introduced a succession of communication breakthroughs commonplace today notably; voicemail, interactive voice response, and touchscreen kiosks. In the mid 90’s Skip pioneered video conferencing as a service (VaaS) by building a kiosk with access to live personal assistance. While state-of-the-art for the time it was impossible to scale. But it proved to Skip that interactive video communication was the future for how many would work and deliver services…virtually.
He believes that in today’s video centric world, seeing who we’re talking to and visually sharing what we’re talking about is becoming the standard mode of communication. And nowhere is that capability needed more that in Healthcare.
With other like-minded individuals, he formed The Castleton Group, LLC to offer healthcare stakeholders a single-point-of-contact for planning, designing and implementing visual collaboration and data sharing solutions. Solutions that extend care everywhere and reverse, not just bend, the cost curve.
